As 2019 and this decade comes to a close, we, at Rungh, are excited about things to come - more conversations, more content, and features on more artists.

We wrap up the year with a NEW ISSUE of Rungh - Volume 6, Number 4, a Film and Video Issue, and will be back in the new year with another Rungh Samachar.

Film and Video Issue: Longing and Belonging

Longing and Belonging is loosely structured around themes of diaspora, desire, and identity.

Rungh has a tradition of focussing on Film and Video, as it did with Volume 1, Number 3 (1992) and Volume 3, Number 1 (1995). This special issue goes hand in hand with the series of screenings Rungh presented, Longing and Belonging, 1990s South Asian Film and Video, held in partnership with DOXA at their 2019 Documentary Film Festival with funding by the CIty of Vancouver.
